The alexander technique taught by Itsuko Masuda has crossed into every area of my life.
I have learned an infinitely more graceful way of being and moving. I have learned to be able to recognize extreme, and more essential to me, subtle tension areas in my body. Knowing how and where and what to do with tension is Itsuko’s strength. She teaches one to psychologically recognize habitual ways. She then teaches one to be sensitive to where tension moves to in the body and how to release. I had pain in my arms from tendonitis, pain in my back from uneven posture and pain in my shins from daily exercise. All this has been considerably reduced by learning and practicing the techniques taught by Itsuko Masuda.
