Before Alexander Technique, I neglected to understand the importance of awareness – particularly in regard to chronic pain.
As a perpetual slouch-er and full-time office employee, I always assumed the latter was inevitable. Learning the Alexander Technique under Itsuko Masuda has shown me chronic back and neck pain can be alleviated through psychologically recognizing and releasing tension. Consequently, I’ve bettered my poor habits and no longer have pain. I cannot recommend Itsuko enough – she is nothing short of a master in her craft and her guidance has positively changed my life.
