<What is the Active Rest?>

Active Rest or Constructive Rest is a simple yet powerful self-help tool to energize you body and mind. It will help you release unnecessary tension throughout your body.

<Why is this good?>

It is very beneficial for your well-being.
You can:
– reduce excess tension from the joints and muscles
– relax your body
– clear your mind
– take pressure off the spine
– calm your nervous system
– regain your energy
– improve your posture

<When should I do it?>

Whenever you feel tired physically, mentally and emotionally,  take 10-20min. to lie down on your back. If you do it before going to bed, it will help you sleep well since it will calm your nervous system, too. I encourage my students to do it once or twice a day.

<How can I do it?>

Choose a quiet and warm place.
Lie down on the back with the knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
Place some books under your head to keep your neck to line in your spine.
Put your hands over your abdomen or place your arms by your side.
Listen and follow my guide.
